The sunniest province in Austria

Carinthia is the southernmost and sunniest province of Austria and is, due to the relatively modest height differences, an ideal region for walking or cycling.
In the spring and summer, you can completely relax between the green mountains and it is possible to swim in one of the many lakes that Carinthia is rich in. (Afritzersee, Ossiachersee, Wörthersee, Feldsee and Millstattersee).

No one needs to be bored during the holidays! There is a lot to do in Carinthia. How about, among others:
- Hiking. Directly from the pension up the Verditz, or on the Gerlitzen, the Dobratsch or somewhere else in the National Park Nockberge.
- Swimming in the lakes, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, canyoning, rafting, fishing
- Mountain biking, cycling, paragliding and horseback riding (around the Ossiachersee is a cycle path of approx. 45 km)
- A boat trip on one of the lakes. Or, a boat trip from the city center of Villach over the Drau to the Faakersee.
- A visit to one of the following places in Carinthia> Klagenfurt, Villach, Velden am Wörthersee.
- One day to Venice and to Bled in Slovenia.
- Climbing, Clambering
- Visiting the castle Landskron near Villach
- Summer skiing on the Mölltal Glacier Ankogel
- Car enthusiasts can visit the Porsche museum in Gmund or the Villach vintage car museum
- Taking a tour by motorbike or car. Drive along the Nockalmstrasse and the Villacher Alpenstraße, the Triglav Park (SLO) and Tarvisano (IT).
- Visit the border triangle of Austria, Slovenia and Italy (Arnoldstein)
- The viewpoint the Pyramid ball at Keutschach am See
